Biography
Having been active in the community sector for over ten years, Princilia Djombo is a deeply committed woman, driven by social justice, inclusion, and collective well-being.
Having arrived in Quebec at the age of 15, she is now a proud Montrealer who dedicates her energy to building bridges between cultures and supporting the most vulnerable members of society.
Professionally, she brings diverse experience in mortgage financing, training, skills development, project coordination, and translation. She holds a degree in French Studies with a specialization in Translation from Concordia University, as well as a certificate in Arts and Science from the Université de Montréal.
Her passion for culture also led her to explore theatre and film, including training at the John Robert Powers school, and participating in socially engaged artistic projects such as CongoDrama, in support of women survivors of sexual violence.
Highly involved in her community, she has served on the board of the AfroMonde Foundation, collaborated with Racines Croisées in food basket distribution and youth mentoring, and played a key role in several political campaigns.
Winner of the 2010 Leader and Personality Award and recognized in the City of Montreal’s Golden Book, Princilia Djombo—trilingual and deeply connected to her community—is ready to represent the Sud-Ouest with heart and determination.
