Biography
A long-time resident of Plateau-Mont-Royal and father of three, Alexandre has been actively involved in his community for over twenty years. His career has taken him from serving as an engineer in the Canadian Navy to holding key communications roles in major organizations, where he developed strong leadership and engagement skills.
Driven by a desire to make a difference in his neighbourhood, Alexandre is running in the municipal election for the De Lorimier district because he believes in building a community where everyone can thrive in a safe, clean, and vibrant environment. With Ensemble Montréal, alongside Soraya Martinez Ferrada, he hopes to help make Montréal a city where essential services are delivered with care, citizens feel heard, and local projects inspire collective pride.
His top priority is to enhance quality of life and neighbourhood vitality by working with the entire community—supporting local businesses and artists, and making the most of our cultural spaces and parks.
With Ensemble Montréal, Alexandre is committed to three clear priorities:
- Promoting inclusive mobility: Improve signage, make pedestrian crossings safer, and strengthen the cycling network to better protect all road users.
- Investing in our public spaces: Revitalize and energize the eastern part of the Plateau by ensuring clean, safe, and welcoming public areas. A key project: transforming Parc Baldwin into a linear park with an integrated public market—turning it into a vibrant and inclusive gathering place.
- Supporting local artists and businesses: Encourage culture and entrepreneurship while boosting the local economy, so that our neighbourhood remains lively and accessible to all.
Alexandre brings a leadership style that is attentive, inclusive, and action-oriented. He is committed to working hard to make De Lorimier a great place to live—for everyone. He firmly believes that together, with everyone’s involvement, we can make it happen.
