Le Plateau-Mont-Royal

Alexander Roberton

Candidate - City Councillor
DE LORIMIER

Biography

I am running in the municipal elections in the De Lorimier district because I believe in building a community where everyone can thrive in a safe, clean, and vibrant environment. I am proud to stand with Ensemble Montréal, alongside Soraya Martinez Ferrada, to make Montreal a world-class metropolis—one where essential services are delivered with care, where citizens are heard, and where projects reflect our shared pride.

As a father of three and a resident of Plateau-Mont-Royal for 23 years, I am deeply committed to the success of De Lorimier. It is time to turn the page and embrace a leadership that listens to citizens’ needs, focused on action rather than empty promises.

My career as an engineer in the Canadian Navy, followed by my role as a communications manager in major global companies, has given me the skills to deliver concrete results. I understand project management, community engagement, and what it takes to move our district forward.

With Ensemble Montréal, I will focus on:

  • Prioritizing inclusive mobility: improving signage, crosswalks, and bike lanes to ensure safety for all.
  • Investing in public spaces: revitalizing the eastern part of the Plateau and ensuring a high standard of cleanliness, including transforming Baldwin Park into a linear park with an integrated public market.
  • Supporting local artists and businesses: encouraging culture, entrepreneurship, and stimulating the economy for a lively and affordable neighbourhood.

I am determined to help De Lorimier grow into a community where everyone feels at home.
