Biography
My name is Ariane Nadeau. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Sustainable Development from HEC Montréal, and a master’s degree in Environmental Management from the University of Sherbrooke. Through my academic journey, I’ve gained a strong understanding of the social, economic, and environmental issues that shape our communities.
For several years now, I’ve been working in the community sector, primarily in the field of food security. This work has deeply rooted me in the realities of many communities, where listening, social engagement, and concrete action are essential to every project. These experiences have given me a deeper awareness of the everyday challenges people face, and they’ve driven me to respond with empathy and commitment.
Villeray is a neighborhood I know well, deeply value, and want to dedicate myself to. I’m attuned to its local issues, its cultural vibrancy, and the rich diversity of its residents. My motivation to get involved comes from a sincere desire to represent this community with respect, integrity, and consistency while staying present and engaged on the ground.
I’m a person of action, guided by strong values. I’m stepping into municipal politics because I believe in grassroots leadership—an approach that starts with listening and focuses on real, everyday needs. For me, being elected means, first and foremost, being there to listen, and then working together to make real progress.
