Biography

Christopher Little has lived in Île-Bizard since 1965 and is passionate about strengthening his community. Christopher is a highly experienced Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Professional with over 40 years of expertise in the industry. Since 1980, he has specialized in the trade of personal protective products, managing key accounts across Canada, developing strategic sales plans, and offering comprehensive safety consultations to clients. He holds a Commerce degree from John Abbott College, with additional coursework in sales.

Christopher’s career has been amplified by a deep commitment to his community. He served as Local Borough Councillor for Île-Bizard from 2005 to 2013, contributing to local policy decisions and spearheading important initiatives to improve infrastructure and enhance public safety. He also chaired the Safety and Security Committee, advocating for the needs of local residents. His father, Bob Little, was also a city councillor for Ste-Geneviève in the 1970s, continuing a family tradition of public service.

Beyond his professional and political roles, Christopher has made a significant impact in local sports. As Head Coach for Île-Bizard Minor Hockey (2007-2017) and the Île-Bizard Minor Soccer for Girls (2004-2013), he dedicated years to mentoring young athletes, fostering teamwork, skill development, and sportsmanship.

An active member of the Optimist Club, Christopher continues to support local youth and community projects. Christopher seeks to use his skills and passion to better the lives of his local community. 

Our Commitments for

BOROUGH

  1. Protect our green spaces, our agricultural lands, and keep housing construction to a minimum in the zones already designated for this purpose.
  2. Obtain fair and recurring financial compensation from the central city for choosing not to build on our green spaces and agricultural lands, to avoid excessive taxation of citizens.
  3. Repair streets and sidewalks, and install access ramps on Jacques-Bizard/Gouin and Jacques-Bizard/Pierrefonds in the westbound direction.
  4. Implement an automated local notification system in case of emergencies or important events to quickly reach all citizens.
  5. Improve the cleanliness of parks and public spaces.
  6. Ensure rapid processing of complaints submitted to the 311 system.
  7. Promote associations and organizations working in the borough.
  8. Continue efforts to build a francophone high school.
