Ville-Marie

Daniel Vaudrin

Candidate - City Councillor
SAINTE-MARIE

Biography

I am running in these municipal elections to contribute to the development of a borough where quality of life, safety, and economic vitality are top priorities. My goal is to promote safe and welcoming streets, well-maintained parks, stronger support for local businesses and organizations addressing homelessness, as well as rigorous and transparent municipal management.

With more than ten years of experience in strategic management and organizational growth, I know how to transform a vision into tangible results. As Chief Operating Officer of 1642, a Quebec company expanding nationally and internationally, I have developed strong expertise in budget management, innovation, and team mobilization. I also support small and medium-sized local businesses to stimulate their development.

My commitment goes beyond the business world, as I have also been actively engaged in defending residents’ rights. I played a leading role in a citizen action campaign on inadequate sewage infrastructure. Thanks to this 15-year mobilization, which we won, the municipality revamped the installations, improving both quality of life and safety in our neighborhood.

I have also had the privilege of serving as president of Équipe Montréal, an LGBTQ+ multisport organization, and of the Gay and Lesbian International Sport Association (GLISA), in addition to sitting on the board of the Quebec LGBT Chamber of Commerce.

Today, I want to put my experience to work for our borough. Montréal needs leaders who listen, who unite, and who take action. That is why I am committed to:

  • Revitalizing our streets and parks, creating greener, safer, and more welcoming neighborhoods.

  • Supporting local businesses, the driving force of our economy and neighborhood vitality.

  • Promoting transparent and efficient governance, where every public dollar is invested responsibly.

Whether in business or in community organizations, locally or internationally, I have always upheld three core values that will guide my work as an elected official: adaptability, leadership, and innovation. Together, let’s make our borough a model of inclusion, prosperity, and quality of life.
