Biography
A recognized entrepreneur and community leader, Denis Pelletier brings decades of experience in economic development, community engagement, and citizen mobilization to the residents of Rivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles. Owner of a printing company and a landscaping business, he also made his mark as President of the Chamber of Commerce of the East End for four years, successfully revitalizing it during the pandemic. Denis has also been a driving force behind the Guignolée de l’Est de Montréal, leading the initiative for eight years and directly supporting hundreds of families.
Now, Denis Pelletier is ready to put his leadership and experience to work for the community, with a vision to make the borough more accessible, safer, and better represented at City Hall.
Key Priorities for RDP–PAT
- Improved public transit andp accessibility: faster and more reliable transportation options for students, families, and workers in the East End.
- Decentralization of decision-making: giving boroughs more autonomy to address local realities effectively.
- Safety and quality of life: tackling violence, supporting families, and restoring residents’ sense of security.
- Support for businesses and economic growth: revitalizing commercial corridors and creating local opportunities.
- Green spaces and the environment: enhancing public parks and protecting the natural environment for future generations.
