Diana Varela embodies the energy and commitment that Rivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles needs to build a more inclusive and dynamic future. Originally from Mexico and proudly rooted in RDP for several years, she combines rich professional experience with deep community dedication.
A trained singer with a degree in classical and baroque music, Diana has devoted over 17 years to music education, firmly believing that artistic education is a powerful driver of awareness, confidence, and social cohesion.
Known for her attentive listening, empathy, and strong teamwork, she is skilled at rallying citizens around concrete projects that improve neighborhood life. A polyglot, she speaks fluent French, Spanish, English, and Italian, enabling her to represent the cultural diversity that makes RDP so vibrant.
