Dominic Perri has dedicated his entire public career to serving the people of Saint-Léonard since his first election in 1982. As City Councillor for the Saint-Léonard-Ouest District for over 40 years, he is known for his experience, integrity, and unwavering commitment to making Saint-Léonard a safe, dynamic, and well-managed borough.
Holding a bachelor’s degree in Experimental Physics and a master’s degree in Educational Technology, Dominic Perri worked as a science teacher for 29 years before devoting himself fully to municipal politics.
Throughout his career, he has held several key positions: Chair of the Urban Planning Advisory Committee, Chair of the Urban Planning and Economic Development Commission for Saint-Léonard, Chair of the Montreal Metropolitan Community Planning Commission, and Vice-Chair of the Economic Development Commission.
Dominic Perri now seeks to put his decades of experience and vision to work for all residents of Saint-Léonard as Borough Mayor, with a focus on transparency, modernized infrastructure, and improved quality of life.
Dominic Perri was honoured with the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Medal and King Charles III Coronation Medal.
