Biography
Born and raised in Ahuntsic, Joanne Lacombe has always been deeply connected to her neighborhood. A graduate in Economics from McGill University, she has remained loyal to the borough she knows like the back of her hand. To this day, you can find her walking the streets of Sault-au-Récollet with the same passion she had growing up on Charton Street.
A woman of heart and action, Joanne is a true community builder. She has served on the board of the Hôpital Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci, including as Vice-President, and played a key role in major projects such as the Les Bâtisseurs pavilion.
As an experienced manager of a small business in the cultural sector, she also shares her expertise with several local boards, including the Desjardins Centre-Est de Montréal Credit Union, where she sits on the Audit Committee.
A candidate of integrity and deep local roots, Joanne Lacombe understands the challenges residents face – mobility, housing, homelessness, and an aging population – and is committed to addressing them through municipal policies that are human, rigorous, and grounded in reality. With Joanne, experience, proximity, and common sense take center stage.
