Biography
Lemonia Strapatsas serves as Supervisor of Administrative Services and Government Affairs for the Hellenic Community of Greater Montreal, where she leads major initiatives and strengthens relationships with all levels of government as well as the Consulate of Greece in Montreal.
Her expertise spans immigration policy and the promotion of cultural, educational, and community initiatives that enrich the city’s vitality. A single mother and dedicated caregiver, Lemonia embodies the values of family, solidarity, and perseverance—principles that guide both her professional and personal life.
In recognition of her exceptional service, she was awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal in March 2025. Known for her resourcefulness, attentive listening, and strong sense of service, Lemonia is committed to giving residents a voice and addressing their concerns with determination and authenticity.
Today, as candidate for city councillor for the Mile-End District with Ensemble Montréal, Lemonia brings valuable community experience to the political stage. Her ambitions are clear: to build bridges, deliver tangible solutions, and champion the issues that matter most to residents, ensuring a Mile-End that is welcoming, strong, and thriving for everyone.
