Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie

Luciano Recine

Candidate - City Councillor
SAINT-ÉDOUARD

Biography

Luciano Recine was born in Little Italy in October 1967, just one month after his parents arrived in Montréal. He has lived his entire life in Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie, where he grew up, started his family, opened businesses, and invested in the community. A passionate author and musician, he is above all a dedicated father and an entrepreneur known for his closeness to people.

Through his career in the restaurant industry, Luciano built genuine connections with the community. His establishments have always been welcoming places for conversation and exchange, reflecting his natural sense of human connection and attentive listening. These qualities have earned him the respect of many residents and local business owners.

Over the years, Luciano has witnessed the challenges faced by citizens, merchants, and community organizations in Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie. He has spoken out against the lack of listening and consultation in several cases, such as the reconfiguration of Saint-Zotique Street. Deeply moved by episodes of intimidation toward local organizations, he decided to enter municipal politics to give citizens a stronger voice and to restore genuine dialogue.

As the Ensemble Montréal candidate for the Étienne-Desmarteaux district, alongside Soraya Martinez Ferrada, Luciano Recine is committed to representing the residents of his home neighborhood. His goal is clear: to work first and foremost for the people of La Petite-Patrie, building a city where everyone feels truly heard and represented.
