With over ten years of experience in municipal governance, sustainable development, and citizen participation, Michèle Tremblay brings a strong track record of leadership, collaboration, and concrete results for the communities she has served.

A former municipal councillor in the City of Lorraine and later a federal political attaché, she gained in-depth expertise in urban planning, public policy, and citizen consultation. Throughout her career, Michèle has stood out for her ability to energize local cultural life, notably by initiating projects such as comedy nights, cabaret evenings, and the first arts and crafts fair in Lorraine—initiatives that remain popular to this day and demonstrate her commitment to enriching the community.

Now a proud resident of Verdun, Michèle is eager to put her experience and passion to work for the people of Champlain / Île-des-Sœurs. Guided by values of listening, transparency, and respect, she is committed to:

  • Strengthening citizen participation so residents have a real voice in local decision-making

  • Advancing sustainable projects to build a greener, healthier, and more resilient borough

BOROUGH

  1. Secure our living environments and our transportation.
  2. Repair streets and sidewalks, and review traffic impediments.
  3. Protect our natural and built heritage with well-maintained streets and public spaces.
  4. Develop quality infrastructure for all ages in consultation with the population.
  5. Develop a strong local economy built with our entrepreneurs and based on our unique attractions, and provide more detailed and frequent reports on public finances and major projects.

DESMARCHAIS-CRAWFORD DISTRICT

  1. Strengthen police presence to reduce mischief and ensure street tranquility.
  2. Support our local businesses by facilitating universal access.
  3. Develop modern sports facilities, boost our parks, and begin the repair of the Natatorium while respecting its architecture.

CHAMPLAIN–L’ÎLE-DES-SOEURS DISTRICT

  1. Promote intelligent densification through the construction of social and affordable housing, local services, and a quality sports offering.
  2. Restore a true sense of tranquility to citizens by strengthening security around the banks and the beach.
  3. Re-evaluate the pumptrack project and protect the health of Lacoursière Lake, the woodland, and the banks.
