Resident of Saint-Leonard for over 20 years, Arij-Abrar El Korbi has a deep love for her borough. Youngest of a family of Tunisian origin, she dreams of a more inclusive Montreal where projects dedicated to youth are multiplying. As such, Ms. El Korbi has been involved with the Jeune Conseil de Montréal and the Bureau associatif pour la Diversité et la Réinsertion over the past few years. Eager to increase youth participation in the political sphere, these experiences will help her lay the groundwork for the creation of a Youth Council in Saint-Léonard, in addition to bringing the voice of her community to the borough council.
Ex-former commissioner of the Commission scolaire de la Pointe-de-l’Île (CSPI) and currently assistant in a notary’s office, her marked aptitude for concerted and collaborative work is a great asset for the citizens of Saint-Léonard-Est.
