Biographie
Sophie Mohsen brings over a decade of experience in public affairs and political advising across all levels of government. Since 2012, she has built a career dedicated to public service, policy development, and strategic decision-making, with a deep understanding of both local and international issues.
Holding a Master’s degree in Public and International Affairs from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor’s degree in International Development Studies from McGill University, Sophie combines strong academic training with extensive field experience. Her career includes serving as a Political Advisor for the Borough Mayor of Pierrefonds-Roxboro since 2018, as well as previous roles as a Chief of Staff and Political Advisor in the House of Commons of Canada, and Political Advisor at the National Assembly of Quebec.
Sophie has also contributed to strategic communications and community engagement initiatives, holding leadership roles in fundraising, election campaign organization, and public relations. Her work has spanned issues such as social equity and youth political participation, always emphasizing collaboration and citizen-centered policies.
Fluent in multiple languages (French, English, Arabic and Spanish) and passionate about building inclusive, sustainable communities, Sophie Mohsen is now running to represent the residents of Cap-Saint-Jacques as City Councillor with Ensemble Montréal – Équipe Soraya, bringing her experience, dedication, and vision for a stronger, more connected Pierrefonds-Roxboro.
