What to know about contributions:
- You must be a Montreal voter to contribute as a resident.
- Maximum amount allowed: $200 in an election year ($100 per year + $100 additional in election year).
- Businesses, unions and associations cannot contribute.
- An official receipt will be issued for any contribution, allowing you to claim a tax credit.
- Each contributor will receive a receipt indicating the contributor’s name, date and value of the contribution.
