- Teacher in the school boards of Lakeshore School Board, Manoirs, Trois-Lacs, Lester B. Pearson, Preschool, Elementary School, French Immersion, 1970-2007 – Retired in 2007
IN THE MUNICIPAL DOMAIN
- City Councilor, responsible for culture and the environment, city of Sainte-Geneviève, from 1985 to 2001
- Responsible to the council for the following file titled: Research and development for the enhancement of heritage in the territory of the municipality of Sainte-Geneviève 1986-1987
- Responsible for the contest “Villes et villages fleuris” for the city of Sainte-Geneviève from 1991 to 1996;
- Member of the advisory committee for the Pauline-Julien Hall cultural project in Sainte-Geneviève 1996-1997;
- Responsible for the development of a special urban planning plan for the heritage of the village of Sainte-Geneviève, June 2000;
- Elected borough councilor in 2017, in the district of Sainte-Geneviève, borough of Île-Bizard / Sainte-Geneviève and member of the public safety committee.
IN THE SCHOOL BOARDS
- School Commissioner, Marguerite-Bourgeoys School Board, from 2003 to present;
- Vice President of the CSMB, from 2007 to 2014;
- Chair of the CSMB Executive Committee, 2014 to present;
- Member of the Board of Directors of the Montreal School Tax Management Committee, from 2007 to 2011;
- Chair of the working committee of the Council of Commissioners for Educational Resources of the CSMB from 2011 to 2014
- Member of the Commissioners Working Committee for Human Resources of the CSMB, 2007 to present;
- Substitute delegate to the Quebec School Boards Federation from 2007 to 2013.
Community involvement
- President of the board of directors of the HLM Marie-Ange Jasmin in Sainte-Geneviève, from 1990 to 1993;
- Initiator, designer and manager of the contest “Houses of flowers and village beauties” of the district of L’île-Bizard-Sainte-Geneviève, from 2005 to 2010;
- Member representing the school community on the Board of Directors of the Montreal Health and Social Services Agency, from 2006 to 2012;
- Member of the Board of Gérald-Godin College of Sainte-Geneviève from 2006 to 2011;
- Member of the West Island Neighborhood Table from 2011 to 2013;
- Member of the Board and responsible for the website of the Heritage and History Society of Île-Bizard and Sainte-Geneviève from 2005 to present;
- Member of the West Island Chamber of Commerce since 2007;
- Creator and administrator of the Facebook group “Villages of Île-Bizard and Côte Sainte-Geneviève” now having more than 1100 members, dedicated to the history and diverse heritage of our region.
