Whether it is theatre, cinema, museums, exhibitions or festivals such as the International Jazz Festival or the FrancoFolies, Montreal is full of cultural activities that contribute to its international influence. At Ensemble Montréal, we believe that the enhancement of Montreal’s cultural heritage also requires an official recognition of our city as a city of gospel music, an outlet that has allowed the black community of Montreal to keep the faith in the most difficult times.
