Ensemble Montréal Launches Its 2025 Electoral Campaign

Soraya Martinez Ferrada, candidate for mayor of Montreal and the leader of Ensemble Montréal, unveiled on Sunday morning the main priorities of the party’s electoral campaign. The launch gathered nearly 70 candidates in the Ville-Marie borough, at the heart of Montréal.

This announcement comes just days before the official start of the municipal election period and the opening of the nomination period, which begins this Friday.

Six Key Priorities

Ensemble Montréal’s vision focuses on a municipal administration that is efficient, promotes social, cultural, and economic development, and restores Montréal’s status as a truly ambitious and attractive metropolis.

To achieve this vision, Ensemble Montréal will focus on six key priorities, forming the party’s roadmap for the upcoming mandate:

  • Tackling the housing crisis
  • Promoting safe and efficient transportation
  • Improving cleanliness
  • Strengthening public safety
  • Reducing homelessness
  • Managing the City with rigor and efficiency

Quote

“Montrealers are tired of everything in Montréal—whether it’s housing, transportation, or getting a permit—being so slow, complicated, and expensive. An Ensemble Montréal administration will support citizens’ priorities, like tackling the housing and homelessness crises and ensuring clean, safe neighborhoods. We want to reverse Montréal’s decline so it can once again become the cultural, social, and economic hub it used to be—and so Montrealers can start dreaming again.”
Soraya Martinez Ferrada, Leader of Ensemble Montréal and Mayoral Candidate
